Do mummys cope with situations differently to Daddys?

It’s 7am 2yo and his teddy are awake…
7am. I wake up to the sound of 2yo muttering something from his room. Bleary eyed I stumble to his door. He is standing there holding his teddy bear looking all concerned. “Teddy Poo, Teddy nappy”
“OK, I’m just gonna have a wee, wait a minute.” Off I toddle to the bathroon. 2yo follows me, thrusts teddy into my face, “Teddy POO” “TEDDY NAPPY” Ok the situation is more serious and more urgent than I had originally assessed.
“It’s OK, get some wipes, I’ll be there in a minute.” He toddles off, pacified for a moment, in search of wipes for the poor dirty bear. When I’m ready I carefully open his bedroom door, I am faced with an amazing scene. He has his changing mat out, Teddy laying spreadeagled on the mat. Wet wipes trailing across the floor in a very haphazard fashion. 2yo is looking frantically for a nappy for the poor bear. Obviously Teddy needs a nappy quickly before he poos again.
Mum takes control of the situation. Nappy gets applied to teddy. Wipes are picked up. Change mat back. No point going back to bed now. Everyone is wide awake. Including teddy who apparently now wants to sit on the toilet.
7.20 Breakfast is on the table. The day begins.
Of course we can also look at how hubby would have dealt with the situtation…
7am – wake up to the sound of two year old mumbling something, Bleary eyed hubby stumbles to his door. 2yo is standing there holding his teddy bear looking all concerned. “Teddy Poo, Teddy nappy”
7.01 “Get back to bed, don’t be silly; teddy bears don’t s***”
7.02 Hubby back in bed, asleep.
7.05 Mum gets up, and does exactly as 1st scene.
